Launched in 2018 Shaghaf Oud Aswad is a gender neutral amber woody fragrance from Swiss Arabian. The fragrance opens with notes of Rose, Saffron, Thyme and Woody Notes before moving into the middle notes which a complex mix of Rose, Oud, Patchouli, Cumin, Coriander and Jasmine. At the base are notes of Oud, Amber, Leather, Musk, Sandalwood and Vanilla. The Rose and Oud notes complement each other amazingly well here, as if they were made to work as a team, whilst the Cumin, Coriander, Woody Notes and Leather give the fragrance a woody spicy mystery. One stand out feature of Shaghaf Oud Aswad is the incredible longevity, and it will last the full day in most situations.
