Description
Launched in 1961 Caleche, by Hermes, is a timeless classic thanks to the ingenuity of the brilliant Guy Roberts, who created this as a fantastic Floral Aldehyde fragrance for women. The fragrance opens with notes of Aldehydes, Bergamot, Cypress, Lemon, Mandarin Orange, Neroli, and Orange Blossom before hitting a wonderful floral heart. That heart contains notes of Gardenia, Irish, Jasmine, Lily of the Valley, Rose and Ylang Ylang. In the base notes are Amber, Cedar, Musk, Oakmoss, Sandalwood, Tonka Bean and Vetiver. The fragrance, more than 60 years on from it's launch, has a regal quality to it, to go with it's fresh, clean scent, and it's aged amazingly well to still give a sense of elegance and sophistication when worn.
