Description
Created by Carlos Benaim Red Door is an amber floral fragrance for women launched in 1989 by Elizabeth Arden. Since it's launch it's been a hugely popular fragrance and is regarded by many as a symbol of luxury and glamour. The fragrance features a huge number of notes, but they have been finely crafted to deliver a single coherent and wonderful scent. The top notes are Rose, Orange Blossom, Plum, Violet, Peach and Anise. Those notes sit on a sensational bouquet of floral notes which make up the heart of the fragrance and consist of Carnation, Rose, Tuberose, Ylang-Ylang, Jasmine, Lily, Freesia, Lily-of-the-Valley and Orchid, which are sweetened by a note of Honey. In the base of the fragrance are notes of Sandalwood, Amber, Benzoin, Musk, Heliotrope, Vetiver and Cedar. The fragrance is a gorgeous, rich, sweet floral one, with the sophistication running through the fragrance. Red Door is strong, it makes everyone sit up and take note, but it's also elegant, beautiful, and a wonderful mix of notes that work perfectly together. The fragrance can be worn year round, but as quite a heavy fragrance it is best worn in the colder months of the year. Given this deodorant cream formulation, the fragrance stays with you and fights body odour in a very effective manner.
