Description
Giorgio Armani launched Aqcua di Gio by Giorgio Armani in 1996 as an aromatic aquatic fragrance for men. The fragrance was inspired by a holiday in Pantellerie so the scent was aimed for men who enjoy freedom, full of wind and water while soaking up the Mediterranean sun.
Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gio opens up with bergamot, jasmine, mandarin, lemon, lime and orange then moves onto a blend of herbs, violet, peach, jasmine, freesia, nutmeg and sea accords then finish off with a soft and warm note of musk, cedar, oakmoss and patchouli and amber to create this sharp yet warm scent.
The fragrance is a well-blended and complex one, giving wave after wave of gorgeous notes, delivering a fantastic summer scent. The fragrance is clean, fresh, refreshing and hugely popular. Given the refreshing notes, and the strong citrus opening this is best used in the warmer weather of Spring and Summer.
The notes behind the fragrance were created by Alberto Morillas.
Top notes: Bergamot, jasmine, neroli, mandarin orange, lemon, lime and orange.
Heart notes: violet, rose, coriander, hiacynth, calone, mignonette, peach, rosemary, nutmeg, sea accords, jasmine, cyclamen and freesia.
Base notes: White musk, cedar, oakmoss, patchouli and amber.
How to Apply:
Apply it to your body warmest points, such as crease of your elbows and wrists that intensifies longevity of the fragrance.
Avoid rubbing after application as this will reduce the longevity of the fragrance.
For wrist application, apply the fragrance after hand washing.
